With spring in full swing, the Hoybjerg team has been talking about some of the fun things happening around our offices! Earth day is April 22nd, and our cities are offering freeevents in honor of the planet we hold so dear. Roseville, Placerville, Sacramento and Modesto all have something planned, so check out the details and have some fun!

What:This free family event will have tasty local food, food trucks, live music, entertainment for the whole family, face painting, shows with animals and more! What a great chance to have some fun with the family and celebrate Earth Day!

What:Admission to this event is free for the whole family! There will be live music with groups like Julie & The Jukes, String Thing and more! It will take place on the green, so pack a picnic, bring a blanket and don’t forget the sunscreen. There will also be arts and crafts, children’s activities and info booths to celebrate Earth Day.

What:Sacramento has celebrated Earth Day every year since 1970, and this year is no different! With over 180 organizations exhibiting information and products about our environment, it will be a great experience to learn and have fun for the whole family. What:Modesto is hosting its 26thEarth Day celebration! The theme this year is “Be a Recycling Super Hero!” There will be fun for everyone with music, games and a petting zoo, but they will also have a drop off for old thermometers, cell phones, and rechargeable batteries. There will also be a collection for used glasses and clothes. They want to educate our community on how to better recycle and reuse items while having a great time.
